Clark/Kinzie. Shot in the late afternoon overlooking an alley... reminds me of those old new york photo league prints with rich, dark blacks. shot with hp digital

miller study Posted by Hello

i found this sign on a building in my neighborhood... it has a cubist sort of pop-art quality, almost like a stuart davis painting when cropped and taken out of context. shot with HP digital camera.

Building Study Posted by Hello

i guess it was the subtle colors and minimalist painterly quality of the wall, and the shocking contrast that made this interesting for me, although i'm not sure it's worth pursuing any further. shot with HP digital camera.

parking study 1 Posted by Hello

i pass this parking garage on the way to work each day and it makes me wish i had a view camera and the ability to do zone printing. it's nothing special, really, but for some reason very compelling... i would like to go back and try again for better results with real film and lenses. i adjusted the contrast slightly in this version. shot with HP digital camera.
